By installing or using Sentivo, you accept these terms. We've kept the legalese to what's necessary — and made the subscription rules unambiguous up front.

1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use form a binding agreement between you (the user) and Sentivo Inc. (“Sentivo”, “we”, “us”). If you don’t agree, don’t install or use the app.
2. The service
Sentivo is an iOS application that captures the memory of a conversation: you record a voice note debrief or scan a business card, and we transcribe, extract, and store the result so you can follow up later. The service includes mobile apps, the dashboard, the API, and our optional MCP server.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction.
4. Your account
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your sign-in credentials safe. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Record any conversation without the consent required by your local law.
- Use Sentivo to harass, defraud, or impersonate any person.
- Upload content you don’t have the right to share, including confidential or unlawfully obtained recordings.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass our rate limits or security controls.
- Resell or sublicense the service, or use it to build a competing product.
You are solely responsible for complying with the recording-consent laws of every jurisdiction where you capture conversations. Sentivo does not record on your behalf or in the background.
6. Your content and data
You retain ownership of everything you capture in Sentivo. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display your content for the sole purpose of operating and improving the service for you. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell or share it with third parties beyond the processors listed in our Privacy Policy.
7. Subscription terms
Plans and pricing
Sentivo Pro is sold as an auto-renewable subscription:
- Monthly — US$49.99 per month, with an optional 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers.
- Annual — US$489.99 per year (saves about 18% compared to monthly billing).
Prices may change. Where Apple displays prices in your local currency, that converted amount is what you pay.
Free trial
If you start a 7-day free trial, you will not be charged during the trial. The trial converts to a paid monthly subscription at the price shown on the paywall when you sign up, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. The trial is available once per Apple ID; users who have used a previous trial are not eligible.
Auto-renewal
Your subscription automatically renews at the same price for the same period (monthly at US$49.99 or annual at US$489.99) at the end of each billing cycle. Apple charges your payment method within 24 hours before the end of the current period. The subscription continues until cancelled.
How to cancel
You can cancel at any time in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Sentivo. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro access until then. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
Refunds
All Apple in-app purchase refunds are handled by Apple under their standard refund policy. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to issue refunds for Apple-billed purchases.
AI usage
Active plans include AI follow-up drafts, capture, transcription, extraction, and sync. We monitor usage internally for cost and reliability but do not enforce a per-month numeric cap on individual accounts. We reserve the right to contact and, if necessary, throttle accounts whose usage materially exceeds typical patterns.
8. Availability
We aim to keep Sentivo available 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, network outages, or third-party processor incidents (Apple, Supabase, Anthropic, Groq, RevenueCat) may cause downtime. We are not liable for losses caused by such interruptions, except as required by law.
9. Termination
You can stop using Sentivo at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with reasonable notice except in cases of serious misuse or legal risk. On termination, we delete your data per our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
Sentivo uses AI to transcribe and extract information from your voice notes. AI output is probabilistic and can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing the structured data we extract before relying on it for any commercial decision. We provide the service “as is”, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, except as required by consumer-protection law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sentivo’s aggregate liability arising out of or related to your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data, even if advised of the possibility.
12. Apple-specific terms
These terms are concluded between you and Sentivo only — not Apple. Sentivo, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app. In the event the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Sentivo, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app, including product-liability and IP claims, and any claim that the app fails to conform to legal requirements. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and upon your acceptance Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these terms against you.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. The courts of New South Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this clause does not deprive you of any rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
14. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will give you at least 14 days’ notice in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continued use of Sentivo after that date means you accept the change.
